Gavin being done with treatments is such an amazing feeling. We feel so free - the opportunities are endless! Gavin is doing well and he is healthy. We love him so much! Gavin is joyful, smart, VERY cute, silly, and so strong for enduring this past year. One year ago this week (the 16th) was the scariest night of our lives when we ran him to Children's Hospital.
In some ways, being home and getting back into daily life has been a bit challenging. We embrace the opportunity to move forward but with new values and priorities. We value each other so much and have a new outlook on life.
We now truly cherish every moment together - the phrase "live life to the fullest" or "live every day as if it's your last" have richer, deeper meaning. And yet, the opportunity and challenge is figuring how where to go from here. What IS our next step, our purpose?
Sometimes in life we have more questions than answers. Actually, most of the time life is like that.
But I am so abundantly grateful that I have YOU. We are together and we move and grow together. I love you, Tiffany Marie Norton. You are my sunshine, my sonrisa.
