2,555 days ago we had our first date.

Our two thousand, five hundred and fifty five days together have brought many ups and downs.

We have shared so many experiences together. I cannot imagine spending my days, spending my life, with anybody else but you. You amaze me - your patience and gentleness, your way with Gavin & Noah, your way with me - thank you for being you. Thank you for allowing my life to be changed by you.

Sweet Magnolia's bake shop couldn't make this cake, so Aunt Meredith said she would give it a go! It was so delicious. That was so great of her to step in and make this scrumptious cake for your 35th birthday.

New House

We are moving in two days!

It has been a stressful time trying to stage a house to sell with a five year old and two year old but after a year and a few months of looking, we finally found a house!

We are closing one chapter; 2012-2019 -- 77th & Hamilton Street

You had just bought the house the summer of 2012, about six months before we went on our first date on December 18, 2012. I love that day! Coffee with you was so special.

Our new chapter begins: September 2019 - ?  -- 90th & Leavenworth Street

I love you so much. You are the love of my life and I am so glad to be on this journey we call life, together.

Dates over the last year

June 2019

Hiking in Estes Park, Colorado - we went up Bible Point just the two of us, and also went a different day to Emerald Mountain. Walked around downtown, got some coffee!

Weekend of June 8:
Your mom took the boys to Grand Island for the weekend
-Thursday - beer raffle for DSA at Cunninghams Pub.  We won three 6 packs

-Friday -  Benson first Fridays. Shopped at vintage stores. Took weird HIV quiz on street with that lady

-Saturday morning:  11 worth cafe! for breakfast. mmmmhmmm.

May 2019

May 25 - went to eat at Hook & Lime restaurant (food was nothing impressive) in north downtown. Then we got ice cream and then stopped by Stinson Park free concert.

We went to a bar in Blackstone for double date with Kyle/Catherine Hanson sometime this spring, I can't remember when. Then we walked over to Coneflower for ice cream!

December 15 we went to see movie “Instant Family” at westroads,

(you were sick with strep, we had first gone to Methodist ER but it was too long of a wait so you suffered through until later!)

October 27 -  breakfast date (SCBC –Saddle Creek Breakfast Club). Pretty good food!

September 2018

We went to beercade in Benson for the Down Syndrome Alliance's parents night out.

Also we went to Chicago for the weekend, just the two of us!

-we stayed at that little house airbnb near the airport Thursday night (9/20)

-Friday at 3pm we went to the Cubs/White Sox baseball game

-Saturday morning we did the neighborhood walking tour through Second City, and after we found the Husker bar to watch the Husker game. 

-Sunday, back home!

We went out on a date - you got your nose re-pierced (I forgot, why did you have to take it out?) at that place off 78th and Pacific. We went to the HOPPY TACO in Dundee for the first time! (And now we love it!), then we stopped by Coneflower for ice cream in Blackstone (we saw Josh/Brittney/Anabelle)

Kansas City

Thank you for planning our getaway to Kansas City! The caffeine crawl was pretty fun. We both liked the first place (Eleos Coffee) in that weird part of town, after we found out they purposefully chose there and are a non-profit serving the community and doing Bible studies. And the chocolate place (Christopher Elbow Chocolates) was of course, awesome! I love spending time with you. You are the love of my life - you are my person!
