Hi honey,

I love you so much. The words, I love you, are so simple and we say them quite a bit. But I mean them so much. You are so special.  I am so thankful that we met and got married. I love spending our lives together. You are the most amazing person that I have ever met. You love God, you are great with kids, you are kind and loving - your love shines through with how you treat others. You are smart, beautiful, and I love you!

Four years ago we got married!

When we watched the DVD from our wedding last night, it brought back so many good memories.

You are still a woman of integrity who acts the same around everybody. You love God and you love our family! But as I said in my speech at the reception, you also care so much about others - you care about others more than yourself! You still amaze me, mi amor. Happy day we got married!

I am so happy to be on this journey with YOU.

You do such an amazing job with Noah and Gavin. You are a great mother!  Thanks for suggesting we step out on a limb and go to Ireland. I know it was hard, but worth it to get out of our comfort zone. 

Although, I still get cranky when the baby cries for too long! 

Gavin had a good time with your mom in Grand Island, and it was good for him to get away. It was good for Nana to get that time with Gavin, and then my mom got lots of time with Noah!

Date Night

Last night we went to Espana and ate tapas for a date night.

We talked about

-teachers that challenged us growing up,

-defining moments in life (you said when you went to college you realized you are a stronger person than you had realized; I said when I left for Peace Corps it was my "rite of passage" into true adulthood),

and

-what age we feel right now

then we met Matt & Claire at spiel bound to play board games and card games!

I enjoy our date nights! I love YOU esposa!

I have to remind myself to strive to love you unconditionally - like Jesus loves us. He loves us because we have value by being his children - not because of anything we have done or do. I also strive to love you like this - love you for who you are.

You make it pretty easy, actually. You are so lovable!  Sometimes it's too easy to think of the reasons I love you that have more to do with what you do for me....

I still venture into other reasons I love you - like things you DO.  Because you are an amazing person and do some amazing things.  But getting back to the point, it's not about what you DO, it's about who you are - you are worthy of love because God loves you.  I love you for who YOU are, not what you do for me!

You are are the most amazing person I have ever met. You constantly surprise me with how much love you have for other people. I can see how much you love Gavin and baby Noah - you radiate with love. That inspires me to love and open more.

Four years ago at this time we were dating. I was pursuing the love of my life! Our first kiss on New Years Eve is so memorable - every year at this time I get excited with all the emotions of us first dating, our first kiss at midnight, and us knowing from the very beginning that our relationship is something different than what we had ever experienced before.
