perseverance

When I first started writing to you in this blog, my purpose was (and is) to write about a different aspect of your character or who you are -- your integrity, your smile, your overflowing love for others, how thoughtful you are.

Today I want to focus on your perseverance.

Our journey has not been easy (But who's is?).  But in our case, we've had more than just a "bump in the road."  You have persevered, still having patience and faith.  You could have shut down, turned away, and denied reality.  But you stand strong. Yes it is difficult, something nobody should have to go through.

And yet we still know God is good. We still have faith in the goodness of God, although we don't understand so much in life. We love each other and don't turn away. Thank you for teaching me patience and perseverance, mi sonrisa.
